ATA’s Practical Nursing Program offers an accelerated track to your new nursing career!
The 15-month Practical Nursing Program (LPN) is taught by experienced and qualified nursing faculty. Students will receive training in a class room setting, modern on site laboratories and also gain offsite clinical experience!
This program includes a wide variety of NCLEX preparation assessments to help students gain critical thinking skills and a comprehensive nursing knowledge needed to be successful in the healthcare field!
Upon successful completion of the Practical Nursing Program and clinical practicum, graduates are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Exam for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN).

Student Disclosure Notice
At its January 2025 meeting, ABHES reviewed outcomes for ATA Career Education’s Pre-Licensure Practical Nursing – Diploma program. ABHES requires institutions to demonstrate at least a 70% retention rate for all programs. Because ATA Career Education outcomes for this program have been reported below the required rate, ABHES placed ATA Career Education on Program Specific Warning to take corrective action and provide additional information to the Commission. Additionally, all programs placed on Program Specific Warning are required to submit a Teach-Out Plan in the event it is needed as well as publish a student disclosure notice.
